Plot and Premise
Set during a period of historical conflict, warlord Murashige Araki launches a rebellion against the tyrannical ruler Nobunaga Oda, retreating to his stronghold to withstand an external siege. As Oda's forces seal off the fortress, internal tensions rise among Araki's retainers. Amidst the ongoing military siege and emotional support from his wife Chiyoho, an unexpected murder of a young boy triggers a series of mysterious incidents within the closed environment. Because the castle remains completely cut off from the outside world, the perpetrator must reside within its walls.
