Kim Young-dae (South Korean Actor)
Kim Young-dae (Korean: 김영대; born March 2, 1996) is a South Korean actor signed under Outer Korea. Standing at 185 cm, he has established a prominent career in television dramas since his acting debut, gaining widespread recognition through major ensemble casts and leading roles in broadcast and streaming series.
Career and Television Roles
Kim Young-dae began his acting career in 2018, appearing in the KBS2 Drama Special The Expiration Date of You and Me as Kim Min-Sik. He gained wider public attention in 2019 through fantasy romance series Extraordinary You on MBC, portraying the character Oh Nam-Joo. That same year, he made guest and minor appearances in series such as Welcome to Waikiki 2 and Item.
In 2020, Kim starred in the JTBC romance series When the Weather is Fine as Oh Young-Woo, followed by a role in the KBS2 thriller Cheat On Me If You Can as Cha Soo-Ho. His breakthrough came when he joined the main cast of the hit SBS television series The Penthouse: War in Life franchise (2020–2021) as Joo Seok-Hoon, a role that brought him significant domestic and international recognition across its three successive seasons.
