Kim Myung-Soo

Kim Myung-Soo (born March 13, 1992), widely known by his stage name L, is a South Korean singer and actor. He is a member of the prominent South Korean K-pop boy band Infinite. Alongside his music career, he has maintained an active acting career across various television drama series and films.

Early Life and Music Career

Born in Seoul, South Korea, on March 13, 1992, Kim Myung-Soo rose to prominence in the entertainment industry as a vocalist and visual member of the K-pop boy band Infinite under Woollim Entertainment. The group debuted and gained widespread recognition across the domestic and international music markets.

Acting Career

Kim expanded his career into acting, adopting both his birth name and his stage name for various television and film projects. Over his career, he has appeared in numerous television drama series, including roles in Shut Up Flower Boy Band (2012), The Emperor: Owner of the Mask (2017), Angel's Last Mission: Love (2019), Royal Secret Agent (2020–2021), Numbers (2023), and Dare to Love Me (2024).

Military Service

Kim enlisted for his mandatory South Korean military service on February 22, 2021. Following the completion of his active duty requirements, he was officially discharged on August 21, 2022.

Awards and Recognition

Throughout his acting career, Kim has received several broadcasting awards. Notably, at the 2019 KBS Drama Awards, he won the Best New Actor, Best Couple Award, and K-Drama Hanryu Star Award for his performance in Angel's Last Mission: Love. He also received the Popularity Award at the 2024 KBS Drama Awards for Dare to Love Me.
