Kim Kyung-nam

Kim Kyung-nam (Korean: 김경남; born December 21, 1989) is a South Korean actor known for his roles across various television series and films. Standing 182 cm tall, he has built a diverse acting portfolio since his debut, earning recognition through prominent supporting and lead characters in major broadcasting networks.

Acting Career

Kim began taking on roles in South Korean television dramas in the early 2010s. Over the subsequent years, he gradually built his career through appearances in series such as Faith (2012), Shining Romance (2013–2014), and Defendant (2017). His breakthrough visibility increased through supporting roles in critically and commercially noted projects like the tvN prison drama Prison Playbook (2017–2018) and the MBC melodrama Come and Hug Me (2018), for which he received the Best New Actor award at the 2018 MBC Drama Awards.

In the following years, Kim secured prominent roles in high-profile television dramas, including SBS's fantasy romance The King: Eternal Monarch (2020) as detective Kang Shin-jae, the KBS2 family weekend drama Revolutionary Sisters (2021) as Han Ye-seul, and JTBC's The One and Only (2021–2022). In 2024, his performance in the SBS crime thriller series Connection earned him the Best Supporting Actor award at the 2024 SBS Drama Awards. His television career also extends into subsequent productions, including casting announcements for series such as Law and the City and Phantom Lawyer.
