Kim Hyun-sook

Kim Hyun-sook (born October 16, 1978) is a South Korean actress. She is widely recognized for her portrayal of the title character in the long-running television series Ugly Young-A (also known as Rude Miss Young-Ae), which aired on tvN for seventeen seasons between 2007 and 2019.

Career

Kim began her career in the early 2000s, appearing in films such as Friend (2001) and Champion (2002). She gained significant prominence through her lead role in Ugly Young-A, a series that followed the professional and personal life of a single woman in her thirties. The show's longevity made her a familiar face in South Korean television.

Beyond her signature role, Kim has appeared in numerous supporting roles in both film and television. Her filmography includes appearances in 200 Pounds Beauty (2006), Miss Granny (2014), and On Your Wedding Day (2018).
