Kim Hee-won

Kim Hee-won (born January 10, 1971) is a prominent South Korean actor and director known for his versatile supporting roles in cinema and television. Standing at 180 cm, he has built an extensive filmography spanning major commercial films, streaming television series, and directorial projects.

Acting Career

Kim began establishing his presence in the South Korean entertainment industry through memorable character and supporting roles in crime thrillers, dramas, and comedies. Some of his most widely recognized early and mid-career film credits include The Man From Nowhere (2010), The Merciless (2017), and Unlocked (2023). In television, he gained widespread recognition for his performances in series such as Misaeng: Incomplete Life (2014), Angry Mom (2015), and the supernatural action series Moving (2023).

Directorial Work

In addition to his prolific acting career, Kim has expanded his creative repertoire into directing. He directed the Disney+ streaming series Light Shop (2024), adapting webtoon source material, and has continued to take on directorial responsibilities for upcoming projects such as A Man's Man (2028).
