Kim Hae-Gon

Kim Hae-Gon (born 1964) is a South Korean film director, screenwriter, and actor. Active in the South Korean entertainment industry for decades, he has contributed to numerous feature films and television series in both creative and performing roles.

Directing and Screenwriting Career

Kim has worked behind the camera as both a director and screenwriter. As a director, his credits include the films Between Love and Hate (2006) and Fate (2008). In addition to directing, he has contributed screenplays for notable cinematic works, including Failan (2001), A Better Tomorrow (2010), and Boomerang Family (2013).

Acting Career

As an actor, Kim has appeared in a wide array of supporting and character roles in South Korean cinema and television. His filmography spans numerous genres, featuring appearances in films such as Rules of the Game (1994), A Bittersweet Life (2005), Asura: The City of Madness (2016), High Society (2018), and The Drug King (2018). He has also taken on roles in television drama series, including appearances in The Queen of Office (2013), When Life Gives You Tangerines (2025), and Doctor On The Edge (2026).
