Kim Do-young
Kim Do-young (born November 5, 1970) is a South Korean actress and film director. Born Kim Bo-young, she has maintained a prolific career in the South Korean film industry, transitioning from a long-standing acting career into directing and screenwriting.

Acting Career
Kim began her career as an actress, appearing in numerous South Korean films throughout the 2000s and 2010s. Her filmography includes roles in Oasis (2002), Marathon (2005), and The Doll Master (2004). She has also appeared in television dramas such as Vampire Prosecutor 2 (2012) and Partners for Justice (2018).
Directing and Screenwriting
Kim gained significant critical recognition for her work as a director and screenwriter. In 2019, she directed and adapted the screenplay for Kim Ji-young: Born 1982, a film based on the novel of the same name. Her work on this project earned her the Best New Director award at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards in 2020. Her subsequent directorial projects include Once We Were Us (2025) and The Intern (2026).
