Keisuke Sone

Keisuke Sone (曽根圭介) is a Japanese author and screenwriter born in 1967 in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. He is recognized for his contributions to contemporary Japanese literature, particularly in the thriller and crime genres.

Literary Works and Adaptations

Sone's writing has gained international attention through film adaptations of his novels. His work Beasts Clawing at Straws (Jipuragirado Jabgo Sipeun Jimseungdeul) was adapted into a 2020 South Korean film of the same name. Additionally, his literary output includes the novel Wara nimo Sugaru Kemono tachi, which is slated for a 2026 adaptation.
