Plot Synopsis
Set in 2026, the story follows Makoto Hyakutake, a detective whose lackluster presence at the police station earns him the nickname "Mobu-san." Following the tragic loss of his girlfriend, Misaki Saeki, one year prior, his daily life feels devoid of meaning while he observes his colleague Takashi Yoshioka advance in his career. During a confrontation with a dangerous criminal, Makoto is shot. Upon regaining consciousness, he finds himself transported back to the year 2016. Armed with a decade of accumulated experience, he attempts to protect Misaki Saeki and alter their shared destiny.
