Kazunobu Mineta

Kazunobu Mineta (峯田和伸) is a Japanese musician and actor born on December 10, 1977, in Yamagata Prefecture, Japan. He is widely recognized as a member and vocalist of the Japanese rock band Ging Nang Boyz.

Musical Career

Mineta is best known in the music industry as the frontman of the alternative rock band Ging Nang Boyz. His energetic performance style and distinctive musical background established his presence in the Japanese indie and rock music scenes.

Acting Career

In addition to his music career, Mineta has appeared in various Japanese films and television drama series. His film credits include roles in Iden & Tity (2003), Boys on the Run (2010), Piece of Cake (2015), The Cat in Their Arms (2018), and Strawberry Song (2019). He also contributed as the original novel writer for Strawberry Song.

His television work features appearances in NHK television dramas, including the morning drama series Hiyokko (2017) and its sequel Hiyokko 2 (2019) as Muneo Koiwai, as well as the taiga drama Idaten (2019).
