Jung Woo-Sung was born in Seoul, South Korea. He attended Kyung-gi Commercial High School. Standing 186 cm tall with blood type O, he entered the entertainment industry and rose to prominence as a leading man in South Korean cinema during the late 1990s.
Acting Career
Jung made his acting debut in the 1994 film The Fox with Nine Tails. Throughout the late 1990s and 2000s, he starred in numerous notable feature films, including Beat (1997), City of the Rising Sun (1998), Musa the Warrior (2001), A Moment to Remember (2004), and The Good, The Bad, The Weird (2008).
In subsequent years, he continued to take on diverse roles in commercial and critically acclaimed projects such as Cold Eyes (2013), Asura: The City of Madness (2016), Steel Rain (2017), Innocent Witness (2019), 12.12: The Day (2023), and A Man of Reason (2023).
