Jung Jin-young

Jung Jin-young (born November 18, 1991), professionally known by his given name Jin Young, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and actor. He is widely recognized as a former member of the South Korean boy band B1A4 before transitioning into a prominent acting career in television dramas and films.

Early Life and Career Beginnings

Born on November 18, 1991, in South Korea, Jung Jin-young entered the entertainment industry as a musical artist. He gained initial fame as a member and leader of the K-pop group B1A4, contributing extensively to the group's songwriting, composition, and vocal performances.

Acting Career

Following his success in the music industry, Jung expanded his career into acting, taking on roles in both television series and feature films. Over the years, he has appeared in numerous high-profile television dramas, including Love in the Moonlight (2016), Police University (2021), and the Netflix creature-feature series Sweet Home (seasons 2 and 3, 2023–2024). His film credits include Miss Granny (2014), The Dude In Me (2019), and later projects such as You Are the Apple of My Eye (2025) and Mr Shota's Last Business Trip (2026).
