Jung Eun-Chae (born November 24, 1986) is a South Korean actress known for her work across film and television. Standing at 170 cm, she has built a diverse career featuring appearances in prominent independent films, commercial blockbusters, and television drama series.

Early Life and Career Beginnings

Born in South Korea on November 24, 1986, Jung Eun-Chae entered the entertainment industry as an actress, making her official feature film debut in the 2010 supernatural thriller Haunters as Young-Sook. She subsequently appeared in minor and supporting roles in television series such as the MBC drama Pasta (2010) and KBS's My Bittersweet Life (2011).

Film Career

Jung gained wider recognition in the South Korean film industry through diverse roles in both arthouse and commercial cinema. In 2013, she starred as Hae-Won in Hong Sang-soo's critically acclaimed drama Nobody's Daughter Hae-Won. Her performance earned her critical praise, including the Best New Actress award at the 33rd Korean Association of Film Critics Awards in November 2013.

Her other cinematic credits span a wide range of genres, including Play (2011), Horror Stories (2012), Hill of Freedom (2014), The Fatal Encounter (2014), The King (2017), The Table (2017), The Great Battle (2018), Ode to the Goose (2018), and The Plot (2024).

Television Series and Streaming Projects

In addition to her film work, Jung has maintained an active presence in television and streaming series. Her notable television roles include appearances in OCN's exorcism-thriller The Guest (2018) as detective Kang Kil-Young, SBS's fantasy romance The King: Eternal Monarch (2020) as Prime Minister Koo Seo-Ryeong, and Coupang Play's psychological drama Anna (2022) as Lee Hyun-Joo.

She also joined the international ensemble cast of Apple TV+'s historical drama series Pachinko (2022) and its second season (2024) in the role of Choi Kyung-Hee. Her subsequent television projects include Your Honor (2024), Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born (2024), The Dream Life of Mr. Kim (2025), Flex x Cop 2 (2026), and Honour (2026).
