Jung Da-bin (South Korean Actress)

Jung Da-bin (Korean: 정다빈; born April 25, 2000) is a South Korean actress. She began her career in the entertainment industry as a child actress, gradually transitioning into prominent teenage and adult roles across numerous television series and feature films.

Early and Child Acting Career

Jung entered the South Korean entertainment industry at a young age, quickly establishing herself as a recognizable child performer. During the late 2000s and early 2010s, she appeared as the younger counterpart of main characters in various television dramas, including Now and Forever (2006), Il Ji-Mae: The Phantom Thief (2008), Miss Ripley (2011), and Tree With Deep Roots (2011). Her early credits also include appearances in feature films such as Marrying School Girl (2004), Bravo, My Life! (2005), and Lost and Found (2008).

Transition to Leading and Supporting Roles

As she matured, Jung successfully transitioned into adolescent and young adult roles. In 2015, she gained wider public attention for playing both Kim Hye-rin and the younger version of the protagonist in the MBC drama She Was Pretty. The following year, she portrayed the younger version of Ok-nyeo in the historical drama The Flower in Prison (2016), a performance that earned her the Best Child Actress award at the 2016 MBC Drama Awards.

Her notable credits in subsequent years include supporting and starring roles in television and streaming projects such as The Rebel (2017), My Sassy Girl (2017), Should We Kiss First? (2018), and the film adaptation Student A (2018). In 2020, she expanded her range with a critically noted performance as Seo Min-hee in the Netflix original series Extracurricular, followed by a starring role as Baek Ho-rang in the JTBC high school drama Live On. Her later work includes appearances in Netflix's Glitch (2022), U+mobiletv's High Cookie (2023), and the Netflix series The Art of Sarah (2026).
