Jumunjin (2010 Film)

Jumunjin is a South Korean romance-fantasy film released on January 21, 2010. The film was directed by Ha Myoung-Joong and features a screenplay written by Oh Eun-Hee, Ha Myoung-Joong, and Ha Sang-Won. The title is derived from the coastal town of Jumunjin, located in the Gangneung district of Gangwon-do, South Korea, where the story is set.

Plot

The narrative centers on a young woman named Jina (played by Hwang Bo-Ra) who manages a mountain lodge in the rural area of Jumunjin. The lodge faces potential closure due to persistent rumors that the property is haunted. During her time there, Jina encounters a mysterious man (played by Kim Ki-Bum) who lives in isolation, behaving like a ghost. As Jina attempts to reach out and assist him, she finds that he consistently pushes her away.
