Plot Synopsis
The story centers on the early years of the Joseon dynasty. King Taejong (played by Kam Woo-Sung), having previously sealed away an evil spirit during his time patrolling the northern regions, finds the entity returning to threaten the kingdom. As the spirit resurfaces, the King must confront the threat again to protect his people. The narrative also follows his sons, Crown Prince Yangnyeong (Park Sung-Hoon) and Prince Chungnyeong (Jang Dong-Yoon), as they navigate the crisis and their own internal struggles regarding power, recognition, and survival.

Joseon Exorcist premiered on March 22, 2021, occupying the Monday and Tuesday 22:00 time slot on SBS. The series was short-lived; following the broadcast of its first two episodes, the network made the decision to cancel the series entirely.
