Jo Sung-Hee: South Korean Television Screenwriter

Jo Sung-Hee (Hangul: 조성희) is a South Korean television screenwriter known for writing numerous drama series for major South Korean networks including MBC, SBS, and tvN.

Career and Filmography

Jo Sung-Hee has worked on multiple television projects spanning sitcoms and romantic comedy dramas since the late 2000s. Early in her career, she contributed to series such as the sitcom Kimchi Cheese Smile (2007–2008), High Kick! 2 (2009–2010), and High Kick! 3 (2011–2012).

In 2014, she penned the tvN series High School King of Savvy. Her international recognition expanded significantly with the 2015 MBC romantic comedy series She Was Pretty, which earned her critical acknowledgment and awards recognition. She subsequently wrote the SBS drama Still 17 in 2018 and the MBC series In Your Radiant Season, scheduled for 2026.

Awards and Recognition

At the 2015 MBC Drama Awards held on December 30, 2015, Jo Sung-Hee received the Best Screenplay award for her work on She Was Pretty.
