Jo Chae-Yun

Jo Chae-Yun (born May 15, 1999) is a South Korean actress also known by the alternative name Jo A-Young. She has appeared in various television series, streaming dramas, and films.

Career

Jo began her acting career appearing in television series such as KBS2's Lady Cha Dal-Rae's Lover (2018-2019) and I Wanna Hear Your Song (2019). Over subsequent years, she took on various supporting and guest roles across major networks and streaming platforms.

In 2022, she appeared in multiple television dramas including Under The Queen's Umbrella, May I Help You, and Weak Hero Class 1, as well as the tvN TV movie project O'PENing: XX+XY. Her career continued with roles in 2023, including the film Road to Boston and the MBC drama A Good Day to Be a Dog.

In 2024, Jo expanded her portfolio with notable appearances in major television and streaming projects, including the second season of Netflix's Squid Game and tvN's historical drama Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born. She was also cast in the 2026 KBS2 drama series To My Beloved Thief.
