Jamsil (2018 Film)
Jamsil (Korean: 누에치던 방; RR: Nuechideon Bang) is a 2018 South Korean drama film written and directed by Lee Wan-Min. The film explores complex themes of memory, identity, and human connection.

Plot
The story follows Mi-Hee (Lee Sang-Hee), a woman who has spent the last decade preparing for a civil service examination. Her life takes an unexpected turn after she encounters a female high school student on the subway and decides to follow her. This leads to an introduction to Sung-Sook (Hong Seung-Yi). Mi-Hee becomes convinced that Sung-Sook is a long-lost best friend from her past. Although Sung-Sook does not recognize Mi-Hee, she accepts the stranger's presence and treats her with the familiarity of a friend, while living with her partner, Ik-Joo (Lim Hyung-Guk).
Production
The film was directed and written by Lee Wan-Min. Principal photography for Jamsil took place between January 7, 2016, and February 6, 2016. The film had its world premiere at the Busan International Film Festival on October 8, 2016, before its general theatrical release in South Korea on January 31, 2018.
