It's Okay, That's Love (Korean: 괜찮아, 사랑이야; RR: Gwaenchanha, Sarangiya) is a South Korean television series that aired on SBS from July 23 to September 11, 2014. The 16-episode drama was directed by Kim Kyu-Tae and written by No Hee-Kyung. It occupied the Wednesday and Thursday 21:55 time slot.

Plot

The series follows the lives of Jang Jae-Yeol, a mystery writer and radio DJ who struggles with an obsession, and Ji Hae-Soo, a first-year psychiatry fellow at a university hospital. Hae-Soo chose the field of psychiatry to avoid performing surgery. Their meeting leads to significant changes in their personal and professional lives as they navigate their respective psychological challenges.

Production

The first script reading for the series was held in April 2014 at the SBS Studio in Tanhyun, Ilsan. Principal photography commenced in early May 2014, with the first scene filmed in Bundang, South Korea. This scene depicted the character Jang Jae-Yeol confronting his girlfriend after a betrayal.

Production moved to Okinawa, Japan, for location filming between June 22 and June 28, 2014. During this period, lead actress Kong Hyo-Jin was involved in a car accident on June 19, 2014, which delayed her arrival in Okinawa until June 24 or 25, 2014.
