I"s (2018 TV Drama)

I"s is a Japanese television drama series that premiered on December 21, 2018, on the BS SPTV network. The series is an adaptation of the manga series of the same name, written and illustrated by Masakazu Katsura, which was originally serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump between 1997 and 2000. The drama was directed by Keisuke Toyoshima and Mari Asato.

Plot

The story follows Ichitaka Seto, a second-year high school student who has harbored feelings for his classmate, Iori Yoshizuki, since their first year. Their relationship begins to develop when they are both assigned to a committee tasked with organizing a welcome party for incoming first-year students. As Ichitaka grows closer to Iori, the arrival of his childhood friend, Itsuki Akiba, introduces new complexities to his personal life.
