Into the Mirror (2003 Film)

Into the Mirror (Korean: 거울속으로; RR: Geoul Sokeuro) is a 2003 South Korean horror film written and directed by Kim Sung-ho. The film follows a former police officer who becomes embroiled in a series of inexplicable deaths occurring within a department store.

Plot

Woo Young-min (Yoo Ji-tae) is a former detective struggling with the trauma of a failed hostage rescue that resulted in his partner's death. He currently works as a security guard at a department store that is preparing to reopen following a devastating fire. When a string of gruesome and suspicious deaths occurs within the building, Young-min begins an investigation. While his former colleague, Huh Hyun-soo (Kim Myung-min), leads a police investigation suspecting a serial killer, Young-min explores a more unconventional theory involving the store's mirrors after encountering a woman who claims her deceased twin sister is responsible for the incidents.
