Ice Bar (2006 Film)
Ice Bar (Korean: 아이스케키; RR: Aiseukeki) is a 2006 South Korean drama film directed by Yeo In-Kwang. Set in 1969, the film explores themes of family and childhood perseverance during a period of economic hardship in South Korea.

Plot
The story follows ten-year-old Young-Rae, who lives with his mother in the countryside. His mother struggles to support them by selling illegally imported cosmetics. Young-Rae faces social stigma for being raised without a father. Upon learning that his father may be alive and living in Seoul, Young-Rae becomes determined to travel to the city to find him. To afford the train fare, he begins selling ice cream bars, navigating the challenges of his environment while pursuing his goal.
