I Summon You, Gold!

I Summon You, Gold! (Korean: 금 나와라, 뚝딱!; RR: Geum Nawara, Deookddak!) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on MBC from April 6 to September 22, 2013. The series, which consists of 50 episodes, was broadcast on Saturdays and Sundays at 20:40 KST.

The narrative focuses on the lives of middle-class families, examining their struggles, aspirations, and the complexities of marriage and familial relationships. The production was directed by Lee Hyeong-sun and Yoon Ji-hoon, with a screenplay written by Ha Chung-ok.

Production

The series took over the MBC Saturday and Sunday 20:40 time slot, which was previously occupied by The Sons. Following the conclusion of I Summon You, Gold!, the time slot was filled by A Little Love Never Hurts in September 2013. The initial script reading for the cast and crew took place on March 22, 2013.
