Horror Stories (2012 Film)
Horror Stories (Korean: 무서운 이야기; RR: Mooseowon Iyagi) is a 2012 South Korean horror anthology film. The project consists of a frame narrative and four distinct short horror segments, each directed by a different filmmaker. The film premiered at the 16th Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival on July 19, 2012, and was released theatrically in South Korea on July 26, 2012.

Frame Narrative
The film's framing story, directed by Min Kyu-Dong, follows a high school student who is kidnapped by a man with a speech impediment. To delay her fate, she tells him a series of terrifying stories.


Segments
Sun and Moon
Directed by Jung Bum-Sik, this segment follows a young brother and sister who are left alone at home. Their safety is threatened when a mysterious delivery man arrives at their door.


Fear Plane
Directed by Lim Dae-Woong, this segment depicts a flight attendant struggling to survive against a serial killer while aboard an airplane at high altitude.


Kongji, Patzzi
Directed by Hong Ji-Young, this story centers on a woman engaged to a wealthy corporate president. Her stepsister undergoes plastic surgery to impersonate her and steal her fiancé, leading to a dark turn of events.


Ambulance
Directed by Kim Gok and Kim Sun, this segment follows five survivors trapped in an ambulance during a viral outbreak, where they discover one of them may be infected.


Legacy
The film spawned two sequels: Horror Stories II (2013) and Horror Stories III (2016).
