Honjitsu mo Hare. Ijo Nashi (Japanese: 本日も晴れ。異常なし -南の島 駐在所物語-) is a Japanese television drama series that aired on TBS from January 18 to March 15, 2009. The series consists of nine episodes and was broadcast on Sunday nights.

Plot

The story follows Ryo Shirase, a passionate and meddlesome police officer who is transferred to the southernmost manned island of Narumi-jima. The island is characterized by its peaceful nature, where residents often leave their homes unlocked. Initially, the islanders question the necessity of a resident police officer. However, Shirase's enthusiasm and dedication gradually influence the community, which has been grappling with social challenges such as an aging population and a declining birthrate.
