Homme Fatale (2019 Film)
Homme Fatale (Korean: 기방도령; RR: Gibangdoryeong) is a 2019 South Korean comedy film directed and written by Nam Dae-Joong. Set during the Joseon Dynasty, the film explores the life of Heo Saek, a young man who becomes the first male gisaeng in a society characterized by strict gender roles and social oppression.

Plot
Heo Saek (played by Lee Joon-Ho) is raised within a gibang, an establishment where gisaeng (female entertainers) work. Growing up in this environment, he eventually makes history by becoming the first male gisaeng in Joseon. His path crosses with Hae-Won (Jung So-Min), a woman known for her progressive views. Together, they navigate the social constraints of their era while seeking true love.
Production
The film was produced by Lee Chan-Nam and Pyo Jong-Rok. Principal photography for the project commenced on December 26, 2018, and concluded on March 31, 2019.
