Homemade Love Story (Korean: 오! 삼광빌라; RR: O! Samgwangvilla) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on KBS2. The series consists of 50 episodes and was broadcast from September 19, 2020, to March 7, 2021, in the Saturday and Sunday 19:55 time slot.
Plot
The series centers on the interconnected lives of various individuals residing in Samgwang Villa. The narrative explores themes of family, personal responsibility, and professional ambition. Key characters include Woo Jae-Hee, an architect who maintains an independent lifestyle after distancing himself from his father's company, and Lee Bit Chae Woon, an interior design professional who carries the burden of supporting her family. The two characters initially clash at a remodeling site before their lives become further entwined through their shared residence at the villa.
Production
The series was directed by Hong Seok-Ku and written by Yoon Kyung-A. The initial script reading for the cast took place in July 2020 at the KBS Annex Broadcasting Station in Yeouido, South Korea. The drama occupied the KBS2 weekend time slot following the conclusion of Once Again and was succeeded by Revolutionary Sisters on March 13, 2021.
