Homeless Chugakusei (2008 Fuji TV Special)
Homeless Chugakusei is a 2008 Japanese television movie broadcast by Fuji TV. The film is an adaptation of the best-selling autobiographical novel The Homeless Junior High School Student, written by Hiroshi Tamura, a member of the Japanese comedy duo Kirin.

Plot
The story follows Hiroshi, a second-year junior high school student. His life is upended when he returns home from school to discover that his family's furniture has been moved to the street. His father, a widower, informs his children that they can no longer reside in the home before abruptly departing. The narrative explores the subsequent hardships Hiroshi faces, including his time spent living in a public park.
Production and Background
The film is based on the real-life experiences of Hiroshi Tamura. In his memoir, Tamura recounts the dissolution of his family and the period of homelessness he endured during his youth. The television adaptation was directed by Hideki Takeuchi, with a screenplay by Yuichi Tokunaga and Hiroshi Tamura. It premiered on July 12, 2008.
