History of Confession
History of Confession (Korean: 고백의 역사; RR: Gobaekui Yeoksa) is a 2025 South Korean teen romance film directed by Namkoong Sun. The film is set in 1998 and follows the experiences of high school students in Busan.
Plot
The story centers on 19-year-old Park Se-Ri (Shin Eun-Soo), a high school student in Busan who struggles with self-confidence due to her naturally curly hair. She harbors a crush on Kim Hyun (Cha Woo-Min), the most popular boy at her school. Her life changes when Han Yun-Seok (Gong Myung), a 20-year-old transfer student from Seoul, arrives at her school after abandoning his university entrance exam preparations. As Park Se-Ri attempts to navigate her feelings and confession plans with the help of her friend Baek Sung-Rae (Yoon Sang-Hyeon), she finds herself interacting with the indifferent transfer student, Han Yun-Seok.
