Hiroshi Tachi

Hiroshi Tachi (舘ひろし) is a prominent Japanese actor and singer born on March 31, 1950, in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. Standing 181 cm tall with blood type A, he has maintained a long and prolific career in both Japanese film and television.

Film Career

Tachi has appeared in numerous feature films spanning several decades. Notable film credits include his portrayal of Toshizo Hijikata in Golden Kamuy (2024) and its continuation Golden Kamuy 2 (2026). He also played King Bradley in the live-action Fullmetal Alchemist: Final Chapter two-part films (2022), Hiroshi Shibasaki in Yakuza and The Family (2021), and Isoroku Yamamoto in The Great War of Archimedes (2019). Additional film appearances include Life in Overtime (2018), Dangerous Cops: Final 5 Days (2016), and early career works such as The Violent Classroom (1976).

Television Work

In addition to his film projects, Tachi has starred in a wide variety of Japanese television dramas and TV movies. His television credits include Blue Moment (2024), Golden Kamuy: Hokkaido Shisei Shujin Soudatsuhen (2024), Heaven?: My Restaurant, My Life (2019), and Cross Road (2016). He has also taken on prominent roles in historical dramas and serials broadcast by major networks such as NHK, Fuji TV, and TBS.
