Hiroshi Hashimoto

Hiroshi Hashimoto (Japanese: 橋本裕志) is a Japanese screenwriter born on February 5, 1962, in Hokkaido, Japan. He has written numerous screenplays for feature films, television drama series, and television movies.

Career and Filmography

Hashimoto's screenwriting career spans several decades, encompassing both cinema and television productions. His film credits include notable works such as Persona (2000), Thermae Romae II (2014), the box-office success Flying Colors (2015), Inuyashiki (2018), A Banana? At This Time of Night? (2018), And, the Baton Was Passed (2021), and Phases of the Moon (2022).

In addition to his work in feature films, Hashimoto has contributed extensively to Japanese television dramas and TV movies.
