Hiroki Kazama

Hiroki Kazama (born July 22, 1991) is a Japanese film and television director. He has gained recognition for his contributions to contemporary Japanese television dramas and feature films.

Career

Kazama has directed several notable projects across both television and cinema. His work often explores interpersonal relationships and emotional narratives. In the television sector, he is recognized for his direction of the 2022 drama Silent, which aired on Fuji TV, and the 2024 series Umi no Hajimari. His television portfolio also includes Ukiwa: Tomodachi Ijo, Furin Miman (2021) and the 2020 series 30sai made Dotei dato Mahotsukai ni Narerurashii.

In film, Kazama directed Cheer Danshi!! (2019), Cheri Maho The Movie: 30sai made Dotei dato Mahotsukai ni Narerurashii (2022), and Buzzy Noise (2024). He also served as a screenwriter for the film Buzzy Noise. He is attached to the project Mobuko no Koi, scheduled for release in 2026.
