Hindsight (2011 South Korean Film)
Hindsight, also known by its literal title Blue Salt (Korean: 푸른소금; RR: Pureun Sogeum), is a 2011 South Korean drama film written and directed by Lee Hyun-seung. The film explores the complex relationship between a retired mob boss and a young woman tasked with monitoring him.

Plot
Doo-hun (Song Kang-ho), a legendary former mobster, seeks to leave his criminal past behind. He moves to his hometown of Busan with the intention of leading a quiet life and enrolls in a culinary school. There, he encounters Se-bin (Shin Se-kyung), a young woman who was once a promising sharpshooter before a car accident ended her athletic career. Se-bin is coerced into monitoring Doo-hun by a loan shark to whom her friend, Eun-jung (Esom), owes money. As they spend time together in class, an unexpected emotional bond develops between the two.

The situation escalates when a suitcase containing illicit substances is stolen by Eun-jung, forcing Se-bin into a dangerous position within the criminal underworld. As external pressures mount, Se-bin finds herself caught between her loyalties and her growing attachment to Doo-hun.
