Hero (2009 South Korean TV Series)

Hero is a South Korean television drama series that aired on the MBC network from November 18, 2009, to January 14, 2010. The series was broadcast in the Wednesday and Thursday 21:55 timeslot, succeeding the drama No Limit.

Production

The production of Hero underwent several casting changes prior to and during the early stages of filming. Actress Han Ji-Min was originally cast as the female lead, Ju Jae-In, but withdrew from the project for personal reasons. She was initially replaced by Kim Min-Jung. However, Kim Min-Jung subsequently withdrew from the series due to a shoulder injury that was aggravated during the rehearsal of action sequences. Following her departure, actress Yoon So-Yi was cast in the role of Ju Jae-In.
