Heoshikdang

Heoshikdang (Korean: 허식당) is a South Korean television series that premiered in 2025. The drama, which consists of 10 episodes, was released on streaming platforms including Wavve and Netflix (Korea). It is based on the web novel of the same name written by Jeon Sun-Young.

Plot

The story follows Heo Gyun, a historical figure from the Joseon Dynasty known for his literary talent and aesthetic sensibilities. As the dynasty's first food columnist, he finds himself in danger after being targeted by assassins. During his escape, he is transported 400 years into the future, arriving in the modern era. Upon his arrival, he is discovered starving by Bong Eun-Sil in front of a small restaurant. Heo Gyun eventually begins working at the restaurant alongside Bong Eun-Sil to help manage the business.
