Plot

The narrative follows Jin-Wook (Park In-Soo), a North Korean defector who has recently completed his mandatory adjustment period at a government center. Upon settling into his new apartment in Seoul, Jin-Wook experiences culture shock while navigating the city's commercial landscape. While attempting to purchase household goods, he becomes lost and encounters Hye-Jung (Choi Hee-Jin), who is also unfamiliar with the area. The two spend the night wandering the city together.

In a separate narrative thread, Jin-Wook meets Ting-Woon (Quang Su), an undocumented migrant worker from Vietnam. Ting-Woon is traveling to Busan to reunite with a former partner. The two men eventually share a conversation in a motel, bridging the language barrier despite Ting-Woon's lack of Korean proficiency.
