Heaven's Soldiers (2005 Film)
Heaven's Soldiers (Korean: 천군; RR: Cheon gun) is a 2005 South Korean science fiction action film directed by Min Joon-Ki. The film blends contemporary geopolitical tension with historical fantasy, centering on a group of soldiers from both North and South Korea who are transported back in time to the late 16th century.

Plot
The narrative begins in 2005, where North and South Korean governments have secretly collaborated to develop a nuclear warhead. When the leadership of both nations decides to transfer the weapon to the United States military, North Korean officer Kang Min-gil goes rogue, taking the warhead and nuclear physicist Kim Su-yeon with him. South Korean Navy officer Park Jung-woo and a team of commandos are dispatched to retrieve the scientist and the weapon. During a confrontation, the group is caught in the wake of a passing comet, which transports them to the late 1500s. They arrive during a period of conflict involving Korean villagers and invading forces.
