Healer (South Korean TV Series)

Healer is a South Korean television series that aired on KBS2 from December 8, 2014, to February 10, 2015. The drama, written by Song Ji-na and directed by Lee Jung-sub and Kim Jin-woo, explores the intersection of professional journalism and a long-buried mystery involving a group of friends from the past.

Plot

The story follows Kim Moon-ho, a prominent reporter at a major broadcasting company who discovers the truth behind a past incident. He begins to intentionally connect with individuals linked to the event, including an internet reporter named Chae Young-shin and a mysterious courier known as "Healer," Seo Jung-hoo. As the narrative progresses, these characters work together to uncover the truth, navigating personal conflicts and professional ethics.

Production

The production process began with the first script reading on September 11, 2014, held at the KBS Annex Building in Yeouido, Seoul. Filming officially commenced on October 1, 2014, in Incheon, South Korea. The series occupied the Monday and Tuesday 21:55 time slot on KBS2, succeeding Naeil's Cantabile and preceding the drama Blood.
