Happy Sisters is a South Korean television drama series that aired on the SBS network from December 4, 2017, to May 25, 2018. The series consists of 120 episodes and was broadcast during the weekday morning time slot at 08:30 KST. It was directed by Ko Heung-Sik and written by Han Young-Mi.
Plot
The narrative centers on the lives of two sisters, Yoon Ye-Eun (played by Shim Yi-Young) and Yoon Sang-Eun (played by Han Young). Yoon Ye-Eun is a dedicated housewife who has been married for seven years. Despite facing difficulties with her in-laws, she maintains a positive outlook. Her life changes when she discovers that her husband, Kang Seo-Joon, is involved in an extramarital affair.
Her sister, Yoon Sang-Eun, is a single woman who operates a piano institute. Facing financial hardship and mounting debt, she enters into a contract marriage with Choi Jae-Woong (played by Oh Dae-Gyu) through a matchmaking agency, agreeing to the arrangement in exchange for the settlement of her debts.

The production held its first script reading on October 13, 2017, at the SBS Ilsan Production Center located in Tanhyun, South Korea. The series occupied the SBS weekday 08:30 time slot, succeeding the drama Sweet Enemy and being followed by I'm The Mother, Too, which premiered on May 28, 2018.
