Hansel and Gretel (2007)
Hansel and Gretel (Korean: 헨젤과 그레텔; RR: Henjelgwa Geuretel) is a 2007 South Korean fantasy-thriller directed by Yim Pil-Sung. The film offers a dark, atmospheric reimagining of the classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale, blending elements of suspense and psychological horror.

Plot
The story follows a young man who becomes lost in a forest after a car accident. He is discovered and taken to a beautiful, isolated house inhabited by three children. While the home initially appears to be a sanctuary filled with warmth, food, and comfort, the protagonist soon realizes that he is unable to leave, and the children's seemingly innocent demeanor hides a much darker reality.

It received recognition at international film festivals, including the 12th Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival, where it was awarded a Special Mention for the EFFFF Asian Award, and was selected for competition at the 41st Sitges Film Festival.
