Gwiyeowoon Namja (2021 Film)

Gwiyeowoon Namja (Korean: 귀여운 남자), also known as Pretty Men or My Bittersweet Family, is a South Korean feature film released on January 14, 2021. The film was directed by Kim Jeong-Uk, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Lee Byeong-Hun.

Plot

The story centers on Ki-Sung (played by Shin Min-Jae), a divorced man navigating complex family dynamics. His ex-wife, Hye-Jung (Hwang Jung-Yoon), has remarried, while Ki-Sung struggles with his relationship with his father and his daughter, Jin-Joo (Hong Ha-Naim), who is experiencing the challenges of puberty. Ki-Sung harbors a personal goal of reconciling with his ex-wife to restore his family life. His situation takes an unexpected turn when he meets Il-Young (Lee Jin-Ri), a bank employee who expresses interest in him.

The film was produced by Jang Sung-Min and features cinematography by Kim Won-Seok. It has a runtime of 110 minutes and was distributed by Dreamfact Entertainment.
