Green Rose (South Korean TV Series)

Green Rose (Korean: 그린로즈; RR: Geurin Rojeu) is a South Korean television drama series that aired on SBS from March 19 to May 29, 2005. The series consists of 22 episodes and was broadcast on Saturday and Sunday at 21:45.

Plot

The story follows Lee Jung-hyun (played by Ko Soo), an employee at SR Electronics who falls in love with Oh Soo-ah (Lee Da-hae). Unbeknownst to him initially, Soo-ah is the daughter of the company's president. After discovering her background, Jung-hyun attempts to distance himself, but the two continue their relationship. Their lives are upended when Jung-hyun is framed for the attempted murder of Soo-ah's father, leaving the president in a vegetative state.

Following his false accusation, Jung-hyun flees to China to uncover the truth behind the conspiracy. He eventually gains the trust of Jin Dae-in, a powerful figure in the distribution industry, and returns to South Korea under the identity of Jang Joong-won. As a representative of a new company, he seeks to reclaim his life and confront those responsible for his downfall, including Soo-ah's fiancé, Shin Hyun-tae (Lee Jong-hyuk).
