Grand Father (2016 Film)

Grand Father (Korean: 그랜드파더; RR: Geurandeupadeo) is a 2016 South Korean action-drama film written and directed by Lee Seo. The film explores themes of family estrangement and vengeance, centered on a Vietnam War veteran who seeks justice for his son's death.

Plot

Ki-Kwang, played by Park Geun-hyung, is a veteran of the Vietnam War who works as a commuter bus driver. Having been estranged from his son for many years, he is suddenly informed of his son's death, which has been ruled a suicide. Upon attending the funeral, Ki-Kwang meets his granddaughter, Bo-Ram (Go Bo-Gyeol). Suspecting foul play, he begins an investigation to uncover the truth behind the circumstances of his son's passing.
