Graceful Friends
Graceful Friends (Korean: 우아한 친구들; RR: Wooahan Chingoodeul) is a South Korean television series that aired on the JTBC network in 2020. The drama centers on a group of friends in their 40s who have lived in the same city for years. Their relatively stable and ordinary lives are thrown into turmoil following the occurrence of a murder.
Production and Broadcast
The series was directed by Song Hyun-Wook and written by Park Hyo-Yeon and Kim Kyung-Sun. It premiered on July 10, 2020, and concluded on September 5, 2020, consisting of 17 episodes. The show occupied the Friday and Saturday 22:50 time slot on JTBC, succeeding The World of the Married and preceding More Than Friends.
The production schedule was impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, which caused the series premiere to be delayed from its original June 2020 target. Additionally, the broadcast schedule for episode 15 was adjusted; it was originally slated for August 28, 2020, but was moved to August 29, 2020, to accommodate a special program regarding the pandemic.
