Known for his extensive body of work spanning film and television, Kishitani has established a notable career across multiple genres, ranging from action cinema to historical drama series.

Acting Career

Kishitani has appeared in numerous high-profile Japanese feature films and television series. His cinematic credits include performances in Crows Zero (2007) and Crows Zero 2 (2009) as Hideo Takiya, Like a Dragon (2007) as Goro Majima, Shield of Straw (2013), Gatchaman (2013) as Professor Nanbu, and High & Low The Movie 2 End of Sky and Final Mission (2017) as Yoshitatsu Zenshin.

In addition to film, Kishitani has maintained an active presence in Japanese television dramas. Notable TV roles include appearances in NHK taiga dramas and modern series such as Gou ~Himetachi no Sengoku~ (2011), Sanctuary (2023) as Oyakata Ryukoku, Hikaru Kimi e (2024) as Tametoki Fujiwara, and Love is for the Dogs (2025).
