Goodbye to Goodbye
Goodbye to Goodbye (Korean: 이별이 떠났다; RR: Yibyuli Ddeonatda), also known by its literal title Parting Left, is a South Korean television drama series that aired on MBC from May 26 to August 4, 2018. The series consists of 40 episodes and was broadcast in the Saturday 20:45–23:15 time slot.

Background and Production
The drama is based on the web novel Yibyuli Ddeonatda, written by So Jae-Won and illustrated by Sal Goo, which was first published online on February 1, 2017. The production held its first script reading on March 30, 2018, at the MBC Broadcasting Station in Sangam, South Korea. The series was directed by Kim Min-Sik, with the screenplay adapted by the original author, So Jae-Won.
During the production phase, actor Jung Joon-Ho was initially cast to play the character Han Sang-Jin but withdrew due to scheduling conflicts. He was subsequently replaced by Lee Sung-Jae. The broadcast schedule experienced a temporary disruption when episodes 13–16 were delayed from their original June 16, 2018, air date due to coverage of the 2018 FIFA World Cup; these episodes were rescheduled for June 23, 2018.
Plot
The story focuses on the lives of two women, Seo Young-Hee (Chae Shi-Ra) and Jung-Hyo (Cho Bo-Ah). Young-Hee lives in isolation following her separation from her husband, Han Sang-Jin (Lee Sung-Jae), a pilot who engaged in an extramarital affair. Jung-Hyo, a pregnant young woman, arrives at Young-Hee's apartment to seek refuge, revealing that her boyfriend—who is Young-Hee's son—has pressured her to have an abortion. Despite their initial conflicts, the two women gradually develop a mutual understanding while living together.
