Good Boy (South Korean Television Series)

Good Boy is a South Korean television series that aired on JTBC from May 31 to July 20, 2025. The series blends action and comedy, focusing on the lives of former Olympic athletes who transition into careers as police officers.

Plot

The story follows Yoon Dong-ju (Park Bo-gum), an Olympic gold medalist in boxing who faces significant personal hardships after his athletic career. He eventually joins the police force to begin a new chapter in his life. He is joined by Ji Han-na (Kim So-hyun), a former Olympic gold medalist in shooting. Once celebrated as a "shooting goddess" for her skill and public image, Han-na retires from the sport following a world-shaking incident and also pursues a career in law enforcement. Together, the two navigate their new roles while confronting systemic injustice and corruption.

Production and Broadcast

Good Boy was directed by Sim Na-yeon and written by Lee Dae-il. It aired on the JTBC network in the Saturday and Sunday 22:40 time slot. The series consisted of 16 episodes. It followed the conclusion of Heavenly Ever After and was succeeded by Beyond the Bar on August 2, 2025.
