Golden Slumber (2018 South Korean Film)

Golden Slumber is a South Korean crime-drama film released on February 14, 2018. Directed by No Dong-seok, the film is an adaptation of the 2007 novel of the same name by Japanese author Kotaro Isaka. The production was distributed by CJ Entertainment.

Plot

The story follows Gun-woo, an ordinary parcel delivery man whose life is upended when he becomes the target of a high-level conspiracy. He is framed for the assassination of a presidential candidate and must navigate a dangerous path to clear his name while evading those attempting to silence him.

Production

The film is based on the novel Golden Slumber, published by Shinchosha on November 30, 2007. Principal photography for the adaptation began on January 23, 2017. The film features a large ensemble cast, including cameos from actors such as Kim You-jung, Choi Woo-sik, and Jung So-min.
